- NEXT GENERATION Grants
- Personal Income Tax Deduction
- Property tax relief (depending on the municipality).
Each one is detailed below.
Next Generation Aid
Yes, the famous European aid to recover from the COVID-19 crisis. For individuals, the cost is no less than €600 per kWp of installed panels. That is, if you install 3 kW of panels, you get €1,800. And per kWh of battery capacity, you get €490. That is, for a 5 kWh battery, which is the minimum usually offered, you get €2,450.
Personal Income tax deduction
Property tax relief
This is the ultimate prize for those lucky enough to live in a municipality where they are installed. There aren’t many places where they are active, but if you can access them, you’ll get a reward for installing your solar panels. Depending on the municipality, you can find tax deductions of between 25% and 50% on your property tax for 3 to 5 years. We apply for your grants.
Now comes the realization. Imagine a medium-sized, four kWp panel installation in an autonomous community with a 40% tax deduction, and where the town in which it’s installed also offers a 25% property tax deduction for three years.
To put it in a nutshell, suppose the installation costs €5,000 plus VAT. With the Next Generation grant alone, it will ultimately cost you €5,000 – €2,400 = €2,600. Next year, you’ll be able to deduct €2,000 on your income tax return. And on top of that, if, for example, you pay a property tax of €1,000 per year, you’ll save an additional €750 over the next three years. Request your subsidy with us.
All of this extra savings hasn’t been taken into account in the payback calculation. If we apply it, which depends on each particular case, we can easily achieve a payback of between 1 and 2 years.
To clarify, a self-consumption installation pays for itself in under 2 years, on average, today.
The best part is that it will continue to generate significant savings for you for at least the next 25 years.
