V. Personal data processing – general provisions
The personal data requested in each processing case is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the stated purposes, in compliance with the principle of data minimization. Failure to provide the required data may result in the inability to provide the requested service.
In some cases, communication of personal data is necessary for the execution and maintenance of a contract, and in others, for compliance with legal obligations applicable to the controller.
Digital assistant – “chatbot” or “online chat”
Suppose this website utilizes an online chat tool to provide timely responses to frequently asked questions and enhance customer service. In that case, the following data may be processed: IP address and any personal information entered during the chat. Data will not be used to identify the visitor personally unless it is voluntarily provided.
